This class is designed for those who have never shot before, or are interested in purchasing a handgun for the first time. Learn the basic knowledge and skill set necessary to be a safe and responsible shooter while trying out various types of common handguns. Upon successful completion of this course you'll be awarded a free Bronze Membership to our range so that you can practice what you've learned.
Topics Covered
- The basic safe firearms handling rules and why they are important
- How to safely store your firearm
- Basic principals of personal security inside and outside the home
- The different types of handguns and how they function
- Purchasing the correct ammunition for your firearm
- The fundamentals of marksmanship
- How to load, unload, and fire common types of pistols and revolvers.
Everything necessary for completion of this course is provided by Bellevue Gun Club (guns, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protecation, and note taking materials).
