The new SureFire P2X FuryTM is one of the most powerful pocket flashlights available. At 5.4” long the P2X Fury is the same length as SureFire’s   popular LX2 with a failure proof LED that generates more than twice as much light. The dual output lights can output up to 500 lumens with a tactical runtime of 1.5 hours, only half an hour less than the LX2. When switched to the 15 lumen low output setting the P2X can run for up to 46 hours.

The two settings make the P2X Fury well-suited for any use from a pocket sized searchlight to a general work light. The flashlight was designed to discharge a relatively wide beam of light with a brighter center to present a generous amount of peripheral light.

SureFire’s new flashlight is easy to switch between the two settings, pressing the tail cap switch turns the light on for momentary low-output uses, pushing the tail cap further results in a constant on at the low output setting. Returning the P2X Fury to off and then pushing the tail cap on again within two seconds with results in the light turning on to the high output setting. This tail cap also comes with a lock to prevent accidental activation during transportation or storage of the light.

SureFire continues their reputation of reliability and toughness with the P2X Fury. The body of the new flashlight is made from high-strength aerospace aluminum that has been hard anodized to military specifications. The P2X Fury is also o-ring and gasket sealed to make the handy little flashlight weatherproof. Not only tough, the new light from SureFire is also designed to be ergonomic with a smooth body that has been sculpted to fit comfortably in the hand.
