Trijicon RMR Sights
Test Admin
One of the greatest trends to hit the firearms world is that of the shrinking red dot sight.  Mini red dot sights on handguns is one of the more exciting trends to hit the market as of late.  While red dot sights designed for use with long guns have matured in recent years, ultra compact solutions for handguns or use as a secondary sighting system (ie, a rifle with both a magnified scope and red dot) have faced issues with durability and battery life.
Trijicon, the purveyors of the excellent ACOG combat scope and Reflex red dot sights developed the "Ruggerized Minature Reddot" to address the market's need for a red dot sight which could stand up to the rigors of hard use but be small enough for handgun use.  The RMR uses a forged, and anodized aluminum housing which protects the sight's lenses from trauma.  The actual lenses of the RMR series are made of tough, tempered glass and have excellent light transmission.
Battery powered models have an expected battery life of two years, while Fiber Optic powered models have an indefinite life span for day time use, and a night time use life span of 15 years as they are powered by fiber optics and radioactive tritium gas!
We've got the entire spectrum of Trijicon RMR sights on order, but as a late March/Early April, we've got the 13 and 7 MOA dot, dual illuminated versions in stock!
