The Surefire 212 sound suppressor is considered to be one of the best in the industry, and was recently chosen to be the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) sound suppressor of choice, given its minimal impact shift, quick attach/detach capability, and good balance of sound reduction and gas blowback.

Sound suppressors are especially relevant for use in close quarters scenarios, where gunfire can be deafening and disorienting in confined spaces.  However, sound suppressors do reduce the effectiveness of "muzzle strikes" when demanding compliance from hostiles with a jab of the steel barrel.  

This variant of the popular 212 sound suppressor retains all the original qualities of the 212 that make it so popular:  quick detach, minimal zero shift, light weight, and good sound reduction performance... but comes with one small extra feature:  aggressive teeth welded to the front end cap!

While the teeth are not very dangerous, they do ensure better compliance with requests and orders when users utilize their weapon in a non lethal manner with a muzzle strike.  Developed specifically per the request of elite military units who conduct raids in densely populate areas, this is truly a unique and collectible sound suppressor!
