30th Anniversary Beretta M9 Limited Edition
Blaine Chapman
The Beretta M9 is celebrating 30 years of service, and what better way than with a limited edition pistol.
The U.S. Military replaced the M1911A1 with the Beretta M9 in 1985 as their primary sidearm. The Department of Defense wanted to standardize to the 9mm round to comply with NATO and chose the Beretta 92 in 1980. The pistol was put through two more trials and emerged victorious with slight changes.
The Beretta M9 is one of the easiest pistols to shoot you will ever encounter. It has low recoil, a high capacity and offers an extremely simple take down procedure. After 30 years of service as the military's primary sidearm, Beretta has released a commemoritive limited edition to celebrate. Just 2015 of these unique pistols are being produced. Complete with walnut shadow box, M9 30th Anniversary edition challenge coin and letter of authenticity, this rare package is a great investment for any fan of the M9 design. The true M9 frame is complemented by wood grips inlayed with the M9 30th medalions. The slide is adorned with the current dates of service of the M9, the phrase, "30 Years of Service" and finally, near the muzzle is the American flag.
This limited edition is sure to make any Beretta fan excited.
