New Shooters

If you are new to the world of shooting, or maybe still deciding whether or not to try your hand at firing, please accept our warmest welcome to the exciting world of firearms.

Shooting is an empowering and rewarding experience, but it can also be very dangerous. Here at Bellevue Gun Club we take a proactive stance on safety, because your wellbeing is our highest priority. The only way to prevent accidents is to be well trained in the safe handling of firearms, and to implement these practices on a strict and consistent basis. We recognize that nobody is born with this knowledge, so we're prepared to get you there.

If you've never shot before, we highly recommend that you participate in our Right On Target beginner course. This three hour, hands-on class will give you the necessary skill set to handle and discharge firearms safely, and at modest cost. Please see our Firearms Training page for more information.

Safety is everybody's responsibility. If at any point during your visit you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of our knowledgeable and friendly staff. We will be happy to assist you to make sure your time here is safe and enjoyable.

There are several different directions you can take your shooting career; from recreational target practice to tactical defensive training and everything in between rest assured that West Coast Armory and Bellevue Gun Club will be here for you every step of the way.
