West Coast Armory has been my go-to local shop for years. If they don’t have something in stock, they’re always willing to order it, which I really appreciate. David has helped me on most of my visits. He is knowledgeable, approachable, and great at offering suggestions based on what is currently available on the market.
Erin has also been a pleasure to work with. If you need help navigating the eForms approval process, she is the person to see. When the tax changes rolled out at the beginning of the year, she stuck with me through the transition and helped me work through the updated system to get everything approved.
I have been there many times, and the entire staff consistently stands out. Everyone is well informed, professional, and genuinely ready to help. They are also easy to talk to and never make me feel rushed or pressured, whether I come in with questions or just to look around and see what is new. It is a place I feel confident recommending to others, and I always end up stopping by again before long, so I am sure I will see you all soon.
I’ve done a lot of business with West Coast Armory and the Bellevue Gun Club, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From purchasing firearms and optics to navigating the suppressor process, the pro shop team has consistently been outstanding. They’re knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make the entire experience smooth and stress-free—especially when it comes to approvals.
What really sets this place apart is the people. The staff in both the pro shop and on the range aren’t just helpful—they’re genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and create a welcoming, professional atmosphere. It’s clear they care about their customers and about maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone.
Thank you to the entire team for building such a great place to shop, learn, and shoot safely. I always look forward to coming back
Great selection and good prices. Staff is super helpful!
It's taken me a while to be able to speak on this. I was so excited to take Julie's women's classes. Saved up and had to plan for months to make the time.
5 min into the class I realized she'd already picked a couple "favorites." No idea what it was about those women that made her favor them, but it was clear. The rest of us were just numbers to her. I'm even the same race and age as the ones she decided to make her buddies, so no idea what the criteria was. She gave those two more attention through the whole classroom part as well as in the range. She even divided us up and made sure her favorites were shooting with her, and gave the rest of us so some random guy we'd never met. He saunters up to me and immediately starts challenging my shooting experience "bet you never shot one of these before." I've never seen the guy before in my life, I'm signed up for a women's class, and this is his first sentence to me? The atmosphere was tense the whole time we shot, I got zero instructions and was ignored by the actual instructor, Julie, while she laughed and had a great time with her two insta-buddies. There were about 10 other women there in the same boat, and the tension was palpable. Julie immediately changed tone when any of us approached her. We were all visibly confused and disappointed.
I even stayed at the end to try and ask some questions and get some kind of instruction on the issues I was running into. Julie clearly didn't want to talk to me and gave me flippant, disinterested answers. "Well that's just how it is sometimes," she replied when I mentioned getting cut in a particular place while shooting.
By the end of the class, her and her two brand new besties were literally making vacation plans together. I am not kidding.
I am a teacher by profession. It pains me to see students who come to learn ANYTHING being treated this way, but especially a class supposedly geared toward women. It hurts to be left out, and it's not appropriate to pick favorites and decide the other students don't have the right "vibe" or "look" to be in your good graces and be treated with equal respect, attention, and interest, if you can't muster genuine camaraderie. It honestly had to be something that she decided on sight, it happened within the first 5 minutes of class like I said.
Anyway, I just want to warn other women that Julie is like this, and strongly encourage the management there to start advertising for another instructor right away. No one should be subjected to this when they come to your classes.
For anyone who doubts me or needs proof this all really happened, I can tell you she makes hearts instead of a dot above the I in her name.
